COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc International Business and Finance degree provides students with a comprehensive understanding of business and financial operations in a global context. In the first year, students build foundational knowledge in accounting and finance, business economics, marketing, business analytics, international business, and new venture creation, while also developing professional and academic skills. This provides a solid grounding in core business principles and prepares students for more advanced study. In the second year, students expand their knowledge of international business environments, business research methods, and specialised subjects, while continuing to develop professional skills and choosing optional modules to tailor their learning. The program emphasises the interconnection between different business functions and their impact on global operations. In the final year, students consolidate their learning through compulsory modules including business strategy, international human resource management, and advanced finance and business modules, while undertaking a substantial independent research project in international business and finance. Optional modules allow further specialisation according to individual interests. The course equips students with analytical, strategic, and practical skills, as well as an understanding of ethical and professional responsibilities. Graduates are prepared for careers in global business, finance, consultancy, or further study, with strong problem-solving, research, and decision-making abilities suited to the challenges of an increasingly interconnected world.
