COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Artificial Intelligence degree is structured over three years, combining core modules with optional components to provide both foundational knowledge and specialized skills. In the first year, students complete eight core modules, each worth 15 credits, covering essential topics such as programming, databases, digital systems, object-oriented programming, web development, and data structures and algorithms. A team project challenge is also included to foster collaboration and practical problem-solving skills. In the second year, students continue with six core modules, including software engineering, application programming, advanced data structures and algorithms, introduction to artificial intelligence, and data science, alongside a team project challenge to strengthen teamwork and project management experience. This year also includes a core-with-options component, allowing students to select specialized modules aligned with their interests and career goals. In the final year, students undertake a significant 45-credit individual capstone project, demonstrating their ability to apply theoretical knowledge and technical skills to a substantial AI-related project. Additionally, students study machine learning, natural language engineering, and computer vision, with another 30-credit core-with-options module for further specialization. Overall, the program blends practical experience, programming expertise, and theoretical understanding, preparing graduates to develop AI solutions, pursue research, or enter a wide range of technology-focused careers.
