COURSE CURRICULUM

The BEng Robotic Engineering program is a three-year degree designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to design, develop, and program advanced robotic systems. In the first year, students build a strong foundation in mathematics, programming, electronics, digital systems, and object-oriented programming, alongside team-based project challenges that provide practical experience and foster collaboration. The second year expands this knowledge through modules in application programming, data structures and algorithms, robotics, engineering mathematics, control theory, and an introduction to artificial intelligence, while continuing hands-on learning through team project challenges and optional modules for specialization. The third year focuses on independent and advanced work through an individual capstone project, complemented by modules in mobile robotics and computer vision, allowing students to integrate theory and practice while exploring cutting-edge technologies. Optional modules provide flexibility to tailor learning to specific interests or emerging trends in robotics. Across all three years, students develop critical technical skills, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and analytical thinking, preparing them for careers in robotics, automation, and intelligent systems, or further academic research. The program emphasizes both theoretical understanding and practical application, ensuring graduates are capable of contributing to innovative solutions in areas such as autonomous systems, industrial automation, healthcare robotics, and machine learning-driven technologies.
