COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA Latin American Studies with Business Management program spans three years and combines core management education with in-depth study of Latin American society, culture, and politics. In the first year, students build foundational knowledge through compulsory modules in management, marketing, sociology of the United States, and introductory courses in the Latin American Studies pathway, alongside options from a selected list and a zero-credit skills development module. The second year deepens understanding of international relations and regional studies with compulsory modules such as America and the World, while students select from a range of options in Latin American studies, business, and management, allowing for both specialization and interdisciplinary exploration. Optional modules provide flexibility to tailor learning to individual interests. The third year emphasizes experiential learning through a compulsory abroad module totaling 120 credits, offering students the opportunity to immerse themselves in Latin American environments. Alongside this, students complete core modules in business ethics, strategic human resource management, and human resources, while optional modules in Latin American studies and related fields allow further specialization. The program balances practical business skills with cultural, historical, and social insights, equipping students to navigate global challenges and engage critically with Latin American societies, preparing them for careers in international business, policy, and research.
