The BA Philosophy with Business Management is a three-year program that integrates the study of philosophy with practical business skills, preparing students to engage critically with complex societal and organizational issues. In the first year, students develop a strong foundation in philosophical thinking through modules such as Introduction to Philosophy, alongside core business subjects including Introduction to Management and Introduction to Marketing. Students also choose from philosophy or related elective modules, while a zero-credit module focuses on skills for career development. In the second year, the course explores more advanced philosophical and business topics, including Capitalism and its Critics, Ethics, and a selection of optional modules that allow for interdisciplinary exploration. Students also have the opportunity to combine philosophy-focused studies with business or management options, fostering analytical and applied problem-solving skills. The final year emphasizes advanced synthesis and application, with the Philosophy Capstone Module enabling students to integrate and critically engage with key philosophical concepts. Core business modules such as Business Ethics and Strategic Human Resource Management ensure practical management knowledge, while optional modules provide flexibility to tailor learning to individual interests.
