COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA Global Studies with Business Management course is structured over three years, combining core interdisciplinary studies with management and international perspectives. In the first year, students engage with foundational modules including interdisciplinary research and problem-solving, ways of knowing, introduction to management, and introduction to marketing, each carrying 15 credits. They also have the opportunity to choose optional global studies history or international and language modules, offering 30 credits each, along with a zero-credit module focused on skills for future career development. The second year deepens understanding of global and social issues through compulsory modules such as the legacies of the Enlightenment, social entrepreneurship, sustainability, and community action, while allowing students to select from a range of optional or elective modules to suit their interests, including advanced global studies, international studies, or language options, totaling up to 60 credits. In the final year, students focus on contemporary global challenges with interdisciplinary perspectives, particularly examining water conflicts and water cultures, alongside compulsory business-focused modules in business ethics and strategic human resource management. The third year also offers flexibility through a variety of optional modules, including international studies, advanced global studies, or language modules, allowing students to tailor their learning according to their career goals and interests. The program integrates theoretical knowledge with practical management skills and international awareness.
