COURSE CURRICULUM

The course is structured across three years, combining compulsory modules with a range of optional choices to allow both focus and flexibility. In the first year, you study five core modules covering essential foundations, including LT705-4-SP, LT111-4-FY, LT191-4-AU, LT146-4-SP, and LT143-4-AU, which together build your understanding of key concepts, theories, and practices. Alongside these, you select one optional module worth 30 credits, giving you the opportunity to begin tailoring the course to your interests. The second year develops this further with a mix of compulsory modules, including LT204-5-AU, LT209-5-SP, LT219-5-AU, LT245-5-SP, and LT367-5-AU, deepening your subject knowledge through both theoretical and applied perspectives. In addition, you can choose 45 credits of optional modules from within the subject or from outside options, encouraging interdisciplinary exploration and personalisation of your academic path. The final year offers even greater flexibility, with three optional modules, each worth 30 credits, allowing you to specialise in areas that match your interests and career goals. Alongside this, a compulsory full-year module, LT832-6-FY, worth 30 credits, provides the opportunity to undertake an extended project or advanced study, consolidating your skills and knowledge as you prepare for your next steps after graduation.
