COURSE CURRICULUM

This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of politics, international affairs, and economics, equipping them with globally recognised skills and knowledge. It includes a core Politics Portfolio, allowing students to consolidate and apply their learning in a structured, reflective way while demonstrating analytical and research skills. Students study International Current Affairs, examining contemporary global issues, diplomatic relations, and the dynamics shaping international politics, which enhances their understanding of global challenges. The International Financial Institutions and Policy module offers insight into the operation of major global economic institutions, such as the IMF and World Bank, and explores how policies influence national and international economic stability. Optional modules allow students to tailor their studies to individual interests, including advanced topics in government or economics, providing opportunities to explore areas such as public policy, international finance, development economics, or comparative politics. The combination of compulsory and optional components ensures that students gain both depth and breadth in their understanding of global systems, political structures, and economic mechanisms.
