The Engineering Management program is designed to develop professionals who possess both technical expertise and managerial capability, preparing them to take on leadership roles within the engineering and construction industries. The Mental Wealth: Professional Life module focuses on the evolving role of engineers and construction managers, highlighting the impact of technological advancements on production processes while building essential skills in management, financial control, and contract procedures. The Applied Research and Engineering Practice 1 module strengthens students' research capabilities by guiding them through the selection and execution of an independent research project. This module enhances their ability to analyze engineering problems, apply methodologies, and draw meaningful conclusions, fostering independence and problem-solving skills. In Advanced Structural Analysis, students gain practical experience analyzing various structures, such as buildings and bridges, using modern computational tools. The module emphasizes structural safety, modeling strategies, and engineering judgment. The Circular Economy and Sustainability module addresses the critical need for environmental responsibility in construction, introducing students to life cycle assessment, environmental impact analysis, and resource management. Additionally, students have the option to undertake an Industrial Sandwich Placement, allowing them to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world context.
