COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Artificial Intelligence is structured to provide a comprehensive and practical learning experience through a combination of core modules and applied projects, preparing students for careers in AI, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making. The program includes five core modules: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Vision, Machine Learning on Big Data, Intelligent Systems, Big Data Analytics, and the Professional Life Dissertation project. These modules equip students with advanced technical skills in neural networks, deep learning, intelligent agents, and big data management, enabling them to design, implement, and evaluate AI solutions for real-world applications. Through Artificial Intelligence & Machine Vision, students learn to process and analyse digital images, while Machine Learning on Big Data develops expertise in building predictive models and handling large-scale datasets. The Intelligent Systems module focuses on designing autonomous and adaptive AI applications, integrating theoretical understanding with practical problem-solving. Big Data Analytics provides the skills to manage, interpret, and extract value from complex datasets. The Professional Life Dissertation project allows students to apply their learning in a structured research or work-based context, enhancing analytical, project management, and professional skills. Throughout the program, ethical, legal, and social implications of AI are emphasised, ensuring graduates are not only technically proficient but also capable of implementing responsible and impactful AI solutions across industries.
