COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Business Psychology at UEL equips students with the knowledge and skills to apply psychological principles to enhance workplace performance, wellbeing, and organisational effectiveness. The program combines core theoretical foundations with practical applications, preparing graduates for careers in HR, organisational development, consultancy, training, and leadership roles across diverse sectors. Core modules include Health and Wellbeing at Work (Mental Wealth), which explores strategies to support employee mental health and foster positive workplace cultures, and Developing as a Researcher Parts 1 and 2, which build advanced research skills, including study design, data collection, analysis, and critical evaluation, enabling students to investigate real-world organisational challenges. Optional modules allow students to tailor their learning to professional interests, covering areas such as Assessing and Developing People in the Workplace, Work Design, Organisational Change and Development, Leading, Engaging and Motivating People at Work, Positive Psychology Coaching, and Positive Consultancy and Training. Students gain hands-on experience by applying theory to practical business scenarios, conducting research, and presenting findings to industry professionals, fostering both confidence and professional credibility. By integrating psychological theory with business applications, the program develops reflective, evidence-based practitioners capable of implementing strategies that improve individual and organisational outcomes, while supporting positive change and sustainable workplace practices.
