In the Landscape Architecture: Advanced Tools & Complexity in Design 1 module, students apply contemporary themes in complex landscapes at various scales, including regional-scale green infrastructure, exploring the use of diverse technologies and theoretical frameworks. This module also involves live design and construction elements, giving students practical exposure to landscape planning and analysis.The Landscape Architecture: Advanced Tools & Complexity in Design 2 module focuses on resolving and integrating contemporary themes into professional practice through a major design project. Students work at multiple scales, progressing from conceptual ideas to detailed design, while engaging with real-world complexities. The Thesis module allows students to explore and critique a key area of landscape architecture of personal interest, combining reflection, academic writing, and in-depth exploration.
