COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master's program in Interior Design offers a comprehensive exploration of both theoretical and practical aspects of interior design. The curriculum is designed to develop students’ advanced design and representational skills, preparing them to address the evolving challenges within the field. The core modules include Advanced Interior Design 1 and 2, which focus on contemporary design discourses, advanced design techniques, and the ability to contextualize design within cultural and societal frameworks. These modules are designed to help students develop an in-depth understanding of interior design while refining their design methods. Along with these, the Interior Design Theory 1 and 2 modules provide students with a strong foundation in design principles and literature. They are encouraged to critically engage with and analyze interior design precedents, improving their research and communication skills.The Interior Design Thesis module allows students to explore a particular concept or theme in depth, developing expertise in their chosen area. This provides an opportunity to consolidate their work and communicate it effectively to a range of audiences. The Professional Practice module aims to prepare students for the demands of the interior design industry by helping them develop crucial professional skills, including communication, project management, and teamwork. It also encourages students to reflect critically on their practice and to refine their approach to design. Through a combination of creative projects, research, and professional development, the program equips students with the skills needed to lead in a fast-evolving industry.
