The LLM program at UEL includes a series of core modules designed to develop a comprehensive understanding of international law, alongside vital research and employability skills.The International Law: Problems and Process (Mental Wealth) module introduces you to central issues in both public and private international law. It encourages you to engage critically with current debates while helping you develop key research and analytical skills. The module includes workshops focused on employability, academic orientation, and the core competencies associated with UEL's Mental Wealth initiative.The Regulation of Financial Markets module explores how financial regulation operates across different sectors and jurisdictions. With the evolving nature of global financial systems, this module offers critical insights into the mechanisms, challenges, and objectives of regulatory frameworks worldwide.The International Law and Business module examines the dynamic relationship between business and international legal norms. You will explore how businesses contribute to shaping international law, how legal norms apply to corporate entities, and how domestic legal principles are incorporated into international frameworks.The Applied Project module gives you the opportunity to design and execute a research project on a topic of your choice within the field of international law. This allows you to apply the theoretical and methodological tools learned throughout the program to an area that aligns with your interests and career goals.
