The Foundation program at the University of East London (UEL) provides essential knowledge and skills to prepare students for the BSc (Hons) Cloud Computing degree. This program focuses on building a strong base for advanced studies in cloud computing and equips students with skills vital for careers in the dynamic tech industry. The foundation modules, such as Key Skills and Applied Maths, enhance students' problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and critical thinking, which are key to succeeding in cloud computing and related fields. The Mental Wealth module, centered around group projects, fosters collaborative work, essential for professional growth.Students are introduced to fundamental computing concepts in modules like Introduction to Computing and Level 4 Primers, preparing them for more specialized areas in software development, computer systems, and cybersecurity. The Business Information Systems module teaches students about the principles of information system design, covering topics like security and development methods, providing practical experience and problem-solving skills.The main cloud computing degree includes core modules focusing on practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
