COURSE CURRICULUM

The Public Health degree is an interdisciplinary program that equips students with the knowledge and skills to address health challenges at individual, community, and population levels. Practical modules develop key research and statistical skills, and students learn how to evaluate and design interventions using evidence-based approaches. The program also emphasizes community engagement through participatory methods that prioritise empowerment and inclusivity. In the final year, students lead their own research projects, tackling real-world health issues and applying public health principles in practice. Modules such as Public Health Ethics and Law, Health Economics, and Applied Public Health prepare students for the ethical, financial, and professional responsibilities of public health work. Mental Wealth modules, embedded throughout the course, ensure students develop leadership, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and resilience.
