This foundational year is crucial for preparing you for more advanced topics in pharmacology.The Professional Practice in Science module introduces you to various academic and practical skills essential for success in the bioscience field, such as academic writing, laboratory techniques, data analysis, and presentation skills. This will help you transition smoothly into higher education and further strengthen your employability.The Essential Chemistry module covers the chemistry of biological molecules and analytical techniques used in biosciences. The Cell Biology module builds your knowledge of cellular structures, functions, and processes, including the cell cycle and intra/extracellular signalling.
