COURSE CURRICULUM

The Accounting and Business Management degree is structured over three years, each building on the last to provide a comprehensive understanding of business and finance. In Year 1, students gain foundational knowledge in core business areas such as law, economics, marketing, and accounting. In Year 2, the focus shifts to deepening knowledge in financial and performance management. Modules such as Intermediate Financial Reporting and Taxation enhance analytical and critical skills while familiarising students with international accounting standards and UK tax principles. Additional modules cover financial management, project management, and digital marketing, as well as microeconomics and macroeconomics at an intermediate level. A strong emphasis is placed on employability, with modules designed to develop talent management skills and support career readiness. In Year 3, students consolidate their learning and prepare for the professional world. The Mental Wealth module, Global Enterprise and Consultancy Practice, helps refine skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and data analysis through real-world consultancy scenarios. The final core module, Strategic Management Accounting, focuses on applying advanced accounting techniques to strategic business decisions.
