This animation course offers a comprehensive journey from foundational skills to advanced professional practice, preparing you for a successful career in the creative industries. You will also explore the historical and theoretical context of art and design through contextual studies and museum visits, helping you to build a strong conceptual foundation. As the course progresses, you will develop your individual artistic voice while gaining hands-on experience through studio-based projects. The course structure ensures that you complete at least three short animated films, including a final major project that reflects all the skills acquired throughout the program. Working collaboratively on team-based projects, responding to real-world briefs, and leading junior students are all part of your journey. Through UEL Creatives, you’ll gain freelancing experience by working with clients on live projects, learning how to manage your time, protect your intellectual property, and operate as a creative professional.
