COURSE CURRICULUM

In Term 1, the program begins with Fashion Cultures and Contexts for Strategic Business Leadership, where students are introduced to interdisciplinary theories to help them become thoughtful and creative leaders in the fashion business. The unit covers the complexities of strategic leadership, exploring theoretical perspectives, skills, and behaviors that enhance professional practice. Another key unit, Strategic Business Perspectives in Fashion and Luxury Industries, helps students develop a profound understanding of strategy, specifically tailored to the unique complexities of the fashion and luxury industries. Students will critique industry-specific factors, develop organizational strategies, and propose implementation plans for sustained success in these sectors.In Term 2, the focus shifts to the dynamic and ever-evolving nature of fashion business. Fashion Innovation and Futures for Business explores recent innovations and the potential future developments in the industry, with a focus on entrepreneurial practice. Students will gain insights into how innovation and entrepreneurial leadership shape the future of fashion business. Sustainable Business Design and Development in Fashion and Luxury Industries emphasizes the integration of sustainable practices into business strategies, particularly within the fashion and luxury sectors. Students will craft proposals that navigate market complexities while adhering to sustainable development goals (SDGs), linking organizational success with sustainability.In Term 3, the program culminates in the Final Major Project, where students apply the knowledge gained throughout their studies to analyze an area of fashion or luxury business that they are passionate about. This project challenges students to create value for their future careers by addressing real-world challenges at the highest strategic level, drawing on the insights and skills developed in previous terms.
