COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Enterprise degree offers a comprehensive program designed to develop entrepreneurial skills, business knowledge, and practical experience to prepare students for success in today’s competitive business environment. In the first year, students build a strong foundation in key areas, including entrepreneurial thinking, people management, digital innovations, finance, market research, and consumer profiling, alongside generating and exploring business ideas through the Venture I module. The second year deepens understanding and application, focusing on personal effectiveness, social enterprise, brand and media management, and legal and intellectual property considerations, while Venture II guides students through concept development and prototype creation. Additionally, students can tailor their studies by choosing options such as big data analytics, collaborative business relationships, or e-commerce and customer experience design, enabling them to align their learning with individual interests and career aspirations. The program also offers the opportunity to undertake an optional work placement, providing real-world experience and enhancing employability. By integrating theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on learning, the degree nurtures creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills, equipping graduates to launch their own ventures, contribute effectively to SMEs, or pursue management roles in a variety of sectors.
