COURSE CURRICULUM

The Software Engineering degree provides a comprehensive foundation in computing, computer science, and software development. In the first year, students are introduced to programming, databases, web development, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and professional skills, giving them a broad understanding of the field and its practical applications. Classes are scheduled over three days a week, allowing time for additional campus activities. In the second year, students deepen their technical expertise, studying object-oriented software development, architecture design, data structures, operating systems, project planning, and functional programming. They also work on integrated group projects and can choose optional modules such as mobile application development, embedded systems, and intelligent systems, providing flexibility to tailor their learning to their interests. The final year focuses on preparing students for industry, with an emphasis on a major individual computing project that showcases their skills to potential employers. Students also select optional modules in areas such as advanced web application development, cybersecurity, programming languages, usability evaluation, and object-oriented design. Throughout the course, students develop critical problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills while building a professional portfolio of work, preparing them for careers in software engineering, system design, and other technology-driven industries.
