The International Business Management degree at Brighton provides a structured, three-year program that develops students’ understanding of global business practices and equips them with the skills needed to operate in diverse, multicultural environments. In the first year, students build a foundation in core business subjects, including business economics, marketing principles, organizational behavior, human resource management, financial knowledge, and an international business project, alongside academic and professional skills development. The second year introduces a more international perspective through core modules such as international business analysis, managing digital transformation, cross-cultural research, and working across cultures, while option modules allow students to explore areas such as leadership, digital marketing, economic theory, applied analytics, and innovation, tailoring the course to individual interests and career goals. In the final year, the focus shifts to strategic and international management, with core modules in international management and strategy. Students can further customize their studies through a wide selection of options covering marketing, human resources, finance, entrepreneurship, supply chain management, law, and emerging business trends, as well as undertaking an international placement or research project. Through this combination of theoretical knowledge, practical application, and global perspective, graduates are prepared for careers in multinational corporations, consultancy, entrepreneurship, and international business roles, equipped to meet the challenges of an interconnected business world.
