COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc International Business Management programme includes a combination of core and optional modules designed to develop students’ understanding of global business operations, strategic leadership, and international management practices. Core modules include Strategic Management and Foresight, which focuses on long-term planning, business strategy, and preparing organisations for future global challenges and opportunities. The International Marketing module helps students understand global consumer behaviour, international market strategies, branding, and digital marketing approaches used by multinational businesses. Through International Business in Context, students explore the political, economic, cultural, and technological factors that influence international organisations and global trade. Students also complete an International Business Management Research Project, allowing them to investigate a specific international business issue in depth while developing advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. In addition to the core modules, students can choose optional modules such as Financial Decision-Making in a Multinational Corporation, which focuses on global financial management, investment decisions, and financial strategies within international companies. Another option, HRM in an International and Digital Context, examines modern human resource management practices, digital transformation, and workforce management in global organisations. Overall, the programme combines strategic, financial, marketing, and management knowledge to prepare graduates for leadership roles in international businesses, multinational corporations, consultancy, and global management environments.
