COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Journalism degree is designed for students who are passionate about news, storytelling, and digital media and want to build a successful career in the journalism industry. The course combines traditional reporting techniques with modern multimedia skills, preparing students to work across newspapers, magazines, television, radio, and online platforms. Throughout the programme, students learn how to research and write news stories and feature articles, conduct interviews, create video and interactive content, and design newspaper, magazine, and website pages. They also develop a strong understanding of media law, ethics, and the important role journalism plays in society. Modules such as Introduction to Journalism, Reporting Government, Reporting Entertainment, Digital Publishing, and Live Reporting provide practical experience in news gathering, multimedia production, and investigative reporting.
