COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Analytics MSc is structured around a comprehensive set of core modules designed to equip students with the analytical, technical, and managerial skills needed to tackle complex business problems. Core modules include Fundamentals of Business and Management, providing a foundation in organisational operations and strategy, and Probability and Statistics, which develops essential quantitative skills for data analysis. Mathematical Modelling for Decision-Making and Programming for Business Analytics train students to apply mathematical and computational techniques to solve real-world business challenges. Advanced Analytics: Econometrics and Forecasting, Data Mining and Visualisation, and Decision Support Systems focus on extracting, interpreting, and presenting insights from large datasets, enabling evidence-based decision-making. Database Management and Governance ensures students understand how to manage, store, and secure data effectively, while Business Analytics in Practice bridges theory and application through practical, hands-on learning. The Capstone Project for Business Analytics provides an opportunity for students to integrate and apply their knowledge and skills to a substantial real-world or simulated business problem, demonstrating their ability to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
