COURSE CURRICULUM

The Artificial Intelligence MSc equips students with advanced knowledge and practical skills to design, implement, and evaluate AI systems across diverse applications. Core modules provide a strong foundation in machine learning, scalable machine learning, adaptive intelligence, text processing, and natural language processing, giving students the ability to work with large datasets and develop intelligent solutions to real-world problems. Professional Issues and the Team Project modules enhance collaboration, project management, and communication skills, preparing students to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments. The Data Science with Python module ensures proficiency in programming and computational methods, while the Artificial Intelligence Dissertation Project allows students to undertake an in-depth research project, applying theoretical concepts to a practical or innovative AI challenge. Optional modules offer opportunities to specialise and deepen expertise in areas such as Modelling and Simulation of Natural Systems, Network Performance Analysis, and Parallel Computing with Graphical Processing Units, enabling students to tailor their learning to specific interests or career goals.
