COURSE CURRICULUM

The Artificial Intelligence for Engineering MSc combines advanced theoretical knowledge with practical experience, preparing students to apply AI and data science in engineering and technological contexts. Core modules cover essential areas such as Modern Control and System Identification, Agent-Based Modelling and Multi-Agent Systems, Data Modelling and Machine Intelligence, Deep Learning, Multisensor and Decision Systems, Data Science with Python, and the Control Systems Project and Dissertation. These modules provide students with expertise in machine learning, data analysis, computational modelling, and control systems, enabling them to design, implement, and evaluate intelligent engineering solutions. Students also develop critical skills in programming, algorithm development, statistical analysis, and system optimisation, allowing them to tackle complex engineering challenges. Optional modules offer opportunities to specialise and deepen knowledge in areas such as Machine Vision, Advanced Control, Mobile Robotics and Autonomous Systems, Industrial Training program in Computational Intelligence, and Natural Language Processing, with additional smaller options like Text Processing and Professional Issues. The program emphasises hands-on, project-based learning, enabling students to apply theoretical concepts to real-world engineering scenarios.
