COURSE CURRICULUM

The Advanced Metallurgy MMet provides students with a comprehensive and practical understanding of metallurgical engineering, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience and research skills. Additional modules such as Metallurgical Processing, Deformation, Fracture and Fatigue, Advanced Materials Manufacturing, and Heat and Materials with Application focus on the performance, processing, and real-world applications of metals and alloys, providing insight into mechanical behaviour, manufacturing processes, and material optimisation. The program also includes a Project module, allowing students to undertake an independent research or industrially relevant project, applying experimental, computational, and analytical techniques to solve complex metallurgical problems.
