COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Tissue Engineering for Regenerative Medicine program combines theoretical knowledge with extensive practical experience to prepare students for careers in research and industry. Core modules such as the Masterclass Course Unit provide advanced insights into current trends and innovations in regenerative medicine, while the Tutorial Unit offers personalised guidance to support learning and skill development. Laboratory Skills training equips students with essential hands-on techniques for working with stem cells, biomaterials, and tissue-engineered constructs, fostering competence in experimental design, data collection, and analysis. Research Methods provides a strong foundation in scientific methodology, ethical considerations, and analytical approaches, ensuring students can design and execute robust research projects. The program includes two substantial Research Projects, allowing students to undertake independent investigations that integrate theoretical knowledge with practical laboratory work, covering areas such as biofabrication, biomaterials characterisation, and regenerative therapies. Through these research projects, students develop problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and project management skills while contributing original findings to the field.
