COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Neuroscience course structure provides a comprehensive foundation in scientific research and practical laboratory experience essential for careers in neuroscience. The curriculum includes core modules such as Tutorial and Workshop, which support academic and professional development, and Scientific Communication, designed to enhance skills in writing, presenting, and discussing scientific research effectively. The Statistics and Experimental Design module trains students in essential quantitative methods and data analysis techniques for designing robust experiments. Laboratory Skills offers intensive hands-on training in experimental approaches and methodologies commonly used in neuroscience research. The program’s major focus is on two substantial research projects—Research Project 1 and Research Project 2—allowing students to undertake extended, independent research under expert supervision. These projects provide opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scientific questions, develop technical proficiency, and contribute to ongoing research within a leading academic environment.
