COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Nanomaterials course offers a comprehensive understanding of the principles, properties, and applications of nanomaterials through a blend of theoretical study, laboratory work, and independent research. Core modules such as Introduction to Materials Science, Principles of Nanomaterials, and Graphene & Nanomaterials provide students with a deep insight into nanoscale materials, their synthesis, and characterisation techniques. Advanced Composites and Applied Functional Materials & Devices extend this knowledge by exploring the integration of nanomaterials into practical systems and high-performance materials. The Research Methods unit develops essential skills in experimental design and data analysis, preparing students for the major PGT Dissertation, where they conduct original research under expert supervision.
