COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Digital Development program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of how digital technologies can be harnessed to support socio-economic development. Core modules such as ICTs & Socio-Economic Development, Planning and Managing Development, and Research Skills Development equip students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to design, implement, and evaluate technology-driven development initiatives. These modules cover key aspects of information and communication technologies for development, project planning, policy analysis, and research methodology, ensuring students can approach development challenges with evidence-based strategies. Optional modules, including Teaching and Learning Online, Multimedia Design and Development, Introducing Information Systems in Organisations, Issues in the Management of Information Systems, Leadership, Development and Change, and Behavioural Experiments, Quantitative Field Research and Development Policy, allow students to tailor their learning to specific interests such as digital pedagogy, information systems management, leadership, and applied research methods.
