COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Experimental Psychology offers a comprehensive program designed to equip students with advanced research skills, data analysis expertise, and methodological knowledge necessary for experimental psychology and related fields. Core modules focus on developing advanced data skills, open science practices, and reproducibility to ensure research integrity and rigour. Students gain hands-on experience in mixed models, hackathons, and Bayesian statistics workshops, providing practical and collaborative problem-solving opportunities. The program includes thorough training in research methods in experimental psychology, qualitative research methods, and contemporary research skills, enabling students to design, conduct, and critically evaluate psychological research. In addition, modules in scientific programming, computational tools, and machine learning give students the technical expertise to handle complex datasets and apply modern computational approaches to psychological questions. A major component of the program is the Dissertation, where students undertake an independent research project under expert supervision, applying both theoretical and practical skills to explore a specific area of interest in experimental psychology.
