The MA Screenwriting program features a carefully structured set of core modules that build a strong foundation in storytelling, professional screenwriting techniques, and industry awareness. The module Industry and Feature Film provides an in-depth understanding of the film industry, covering the creative, commercial, and collaborative processes involved in developing and producing feature films. Story and the Journey of Change explores the fundamentals of storytelling, focusing on character development, narrative structure, and emotional transformation, helping students craft compelling and resonant scripts. The Calling Card Script and Television module focuses on writing for television, enabling students to create a professional-quality calling card script that showcases their voice and potential to industry professionals. Genre and Theme examines how genre conventions and thematic depth shape storytelling, encouraging writers to experiment with different narrative forms and styles while maintaining originality and authenticity.
