COURSE CURRICULUM

The MA in International Education (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) equips students with the knowledge and skills to critically engage with educational systems and practices worldwide, with a particular emphasis on promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. The course combines rigorous academic study with professional learning to enable students to understand and address the social, cultural, and political factors shaping education globally. Core modules cover educational research methods, both qualitative and quantitative, providing students with the ability to analyse and evaluate policies, practices, and interventions in diverse contexts. Students study theories of teaching and learning alongside concepts and practices of international education, allowing them to develop a strong foundation in inclusive pedagogy and equitable learning strategies. The program also includes a dissertation, enabling students to undertake independent research on a topic relevant to their academic or professional interests. Optional modules offer further opportunities for specialization in areas such as digital literacy, blended learning, and psychology of language learning. Delivered in an international and collaborative environment, the program fosters cross-cultural understanding, critical reflection, and practical application of knowledge. Graduates are prepared for careers in educational leadership, policy, curriculum design, teacher training, consultancy, and research, with a focus on advancing equity and inclusion in global education contexts.
