COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Medical Biochemistry program at the University of Manchester offers a comprehensive study of the molecular foundations of health and disease. In the first year, students build a broad base of knowledge through modules in biochemistry, molecular biology, cellular biology, and human body systems, while developing essential laboratory and scientific communication skills. Practical training is embedded from the start, including introduction to experimental biology and laboratory science, which ensures students gain hands-on experience in fundamental techniques.
