COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Mathematics and Philosophy program at the University of Manchester combines rigorous mathematical training with philosophical study, providing a broad and flexible interdisciplinary education. In the first year, students build foundational knowledge in linear algebra, mathematical analysis, vector calculus, and probability while engaging with philosophy through courses in metaphysics, epistemology, and critical thinking. Optional modules allow exploration of the history of philosophy to complement analytical skills.
