COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc International Business, Finance and Economics program combines rigorous training in finance, economics, and business management to prepare students for careers in global business and financial sectors. In Year 1, students develop foundational knowledge in financial reporting, management accounting, finance, innovation, and macro- and microeconomics, while optional modules in mathematics and technological change strengthen analytical and quantitative skills. Year 2 builds on this foundation with core modules in finance, strategy, and managerial economics, complemented by optional modules covering investment analysis, financial markets, marketing, mergers and acquisitions, and intermediate accounting. This combination ensures students gain both technical proficiency and strategic understanding of business operations. In the final year, students focus on international business and finance, undertaking a major project that analyses corporate management in a global context. Core modules in international finance and managerial economics II provide advanced insights into financial decision-making, while optional modules allow further specialization in areas such as corporate law, financial derivatives, advanced corporate finance, human resource management, and contemporary issues in financial reporting and regulation. Throughout the program, students develop analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, alongside an understanding of how economic, financial, and political environments shape international business. Graduates are equipped to pursue careers in finance, consulting, policy, corporate management, or further study in business and economics.
