COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Information Technology Management for Business program combines business management principles with technological expertise to prepare students for leadership roles in the digital economy. In Year 1, students gain a solid foundation in economics, marketing, information systems, data analytics, and software and database development, while also developing teamwork and professional skills through integrative projects. Year 2 focuses on the application of IT within business contexts, with core modules such as Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, and User Experience Design. Students also advance their programming and data analysis skills while exploring optional subjects like finance, management accounting, consumer behaviour, and technology strategy. In the final year, learning culminates in a major ITMB Final Year Project that integrates both business and technology disciplines. Core modules cover essential areas such as the digital economy, business IT architecture, and cybersecurity governance, reflecting the realities of modern digital organisations. Optional modules allow students to specialise in fields like marketing strategy, innovation, or corporate growth. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on practical learning, problem-solving, and collaboration, with strong links to industry partners. Graduates emerge with a unique blend of business insight and technical proficiency, ready for careers in IT management, consulting, analytics, and digital strategy.
