COURSE CURRICULUM

The Sociology and Data Analytics degree provides a comprehensive blend of sociological theory and practical data skills, equipping students to analyse complex social phenomena. In the first year, students develop foundational knowledge in social research, inequality, and applied statistics, alongside optional modules in criminology, psychology, development studies, and economics. This combination ensures an understanding of social structures and real-world contexts while introducing basic analytical tools. In the second year, the focus shifts to survey design, statistical analysis, and advanced research techniques, with continued opportunities to explore criminology, philosophy, and applied ethics.
