COURSE CURRICULUM

The LLB (Hons) Law with Business degree is structured over three years, combining core legal knowledge with business-focused study and practical skills. In Year 1, students are introduced to foundational concepts through modules such as Legal Method and Skills, which develops legal research and argumentation abilities, and Public and EU Law. Additional modules focus on academic development, career planning, and understanding artificial intelligence in professional contexts. In Semester 2, students study Contract Law and Criminal Law, covering key legal principles, offences, and remedies. Year 2 builds on these foundations with modules like Land Law, Tort, and Critical Approaches in Current Legal Issues, enhancing analytical and problem-solving skills. Students also begin choosing optional modules, including both law and business topics such as Business Law, Real Estate, Marketing, and Human Resource Management. In Year 3, the compulsory Equity and Trusts module deepens understanding of legal principles in personal and commercial contexts. Students then select multiple optional modules across both semesters, including areas like Employment Law, Intellectual Property, International Commercial Law, and Digital Marketing. Practical opportunities such as legal clinics and research projects are also available. Overall, the course balances legal theory, business insight, and employability skills.
