Development, Cognitive Processes and Disorders introduces key theories and concepts in developmental and cognitive psychology across the lifespan. Students examine human development, cognitive functioning, psychological disorders, experimental research, neuropsychological evidence and cognitive neuroscience perspectives. Introduction to Psychology: Classics to Contemporary provides a strong foundation in the discipline by exploring the history, development and major theories of psychology. Students study core areas recognised by the British Psychological Society, including cognitive psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, biological psychology and individual differences.
