Managing Projects with PRINCE2® introduces students to one of the world's leading project governance methodologies, covering project structures, documentation, terminology, processes and the adaptation of PRINCE2® principles for different project environments. Procurement and Contract Strategies develops an understanding of procurement arrangements, contractual frameworks and contract law commonly used in engineering sectors including construction, oil and gas, heavy civil engineering and manufacturing industries. Project Management Philosophies and Tools examines contemporary project management theories, methodologies and frameworks, highlighting the importance of effective project management for organisational growth, innovation and operational success. Risk Management in Projects provides advanced knowledge of risk identification, qualitative and quantitative risk assessment, project appraisal methods, decision trees and financial risk analysis, while offering practical experience using the professional @RISK® software and Monte Carlo simulation techniques widely adopted in industry. The Management of Change module develops a critical understanding of organisational change processes, leadership strategies and the role of managers in successfully implementing and sustaining change initiatives. Graduates develop strong analytical, leadership, research and decision-making capabilities, preparing them for careers in project management, engineering management, consultancy, operations management and senior leadership roles across a wide range of global industries.
