COURSE CURRICULUM

The course is designed to develop advanced business, analytical, and leadership skills while preparing students to address complex challenges in global operations, sustainability, and supply chain management. Through the Business Project module, students integrate their learning and apply it to real-world business situations by undertaking an independent project tailored to their professional interests and career goals, encouraging reflective practice and continuous development. The Critical Business Inquiry module strengthens research and problem-solving capabilities by enabling students to investigate organisational challenges, conduct literature reviews, develop research methodologies, and apply qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to create evidence-based solutions for industry problems. Global Operations Management focuses on the development of decision-making and problem-solving skills within international business environments, exploring strategies that organisations use to manage operations effectively while meeting stakeholder expectations in a rapidly changing global economy. Students examine process improvement, project delivery, quality management, and operational performance in international settings. The Reimagining Sustainable Management in Global Markets module develops an understanding of responsible and sustainable business practices by exploring the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, environmental sustainability, international trade, economic policy, and social accountability. Students gain insight into how organisations can create value while addressing environmental and societal challenges in global markets. Sustainable Logistics and Supply Chain Management examines the critical role supply chains play in society and the environment, focusing on sustainable and resilient logistics systems. Students develop knowledge of global supply networks, risk management, lean processes, information systems, and strategic decision-making, while analysing case studies to identify innovative and research-informed solutions to contemporary supply chain challenges.
