COURSE CURRICULUM

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of international business and management, preparing students to succeed in the increasingly interconnected global marketplace. It develops knowledge of international business practices, cross-cultural leadership, global operations, sustainability, innovation, and strategic change management. Through an industry-focused and internationally connected learning environment, students gain the skills, behaviours and entrepreneurial mindset needed to address modern business challenges and create positive social and economic impact. The course combines theoretical understanding with practical application through a Business Project, allowing students to investigate and solve real organisational problems in a professional context. Students also develop strong research and analytical skills through Critical Business Inquiry, learning how to conduct literature reviews, design research methodologies and analyse qualitative and quantitative data to support evidence-based decision-making. Contemporary Management in Operations and Finance explores current issues affecting organisations and examines the relationship between finance, operations and management in dynamic business environments. The Reimagining Sustainable Management in Global Markets module focuses on responsible management, global sustainability challenges and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, while exploring the impact of international trade, economic policy and environmental sustainability on businesses and societies. The Responsible Leader module encourages self-reflection and leadership development, helping students build responsible, accountable and compassionate leadership approaches that support organisational resilience, innovation and long-term success. As a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education initiative, the course places strong emphasis on ethical leadership and sustainable business practices.
