COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Business Management and Accountancy programme provides students with advanced knowledge of global business management, accounting, and finance within an international context. The course develops strategic, analytical, and leadership skills required for careers in multinational organisations, financial services, and the public sector. Students undertake a Business Project that allows them to apply their knowledge to a real-world business challenge while developing research, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. The Critical Business Inquiry module strengthens research and analytical skills, enabling students to critically evaluate contemporary business issues and management practices. Through Financial Reporting and Analysis, students gain an understanding of financial statements, corporate reporting standards, and methods of evaluating organisational financial performance. The Managerial Finance module develops expertise in financial decision-making, investment appraisal, risk management, and corporate finance strategies that support business growth and sustainability. A distinctive feature of the programme is the Reimagining Sustainable Management in Global Markets module, which explores responsible leadership, sustainable business models, and the challenges facing organisations in an increasingly interconnected global economy. Students examine the role of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in shaping business strategy and policy while analysing the relationships between economic growth, international trade, globalisation, and environmental sustainability. The programme also investigates international environmental agreements, social accountability, and innovative approaches to sustainable management, preparing graduates to lead organisations responsibly in a rapidly changing global marketplace.
