COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc (Hons) Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence course at Teesside University combines business management, data analytics and artificial intelligence to prepare students for careers in the digital economy. The course develops a strong understanding of how organisations use data, emerging technologies and digital strategies to improve performance and gain competitive advantage. Students study a diverse range of modules, including AI Ethics, Algorithms and Data Structures, and Artificial Intelligence, which provide a solid foundation in the technical and ethical aspects of modern AI systems. Business-focused modules such as Business Decision Making, Business Enterprise and Operating Globally develop strategic thinking, leadership and an understanding of international business environments. Through Consultancy in Practice and Enterprise Challenge, students work on real-world business problems, applying analytical techniques and innovative solutions to organisational challenges. Modules such as Reimagining the Future of Business and Society and The Future of Work encourage students to examine how technology is transforming industries, workplaces and society while considering sustainability, ethics and responsible innovation. The programme culminates in a Final Project, allowing students to undertake independent research and apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the degree to a significant business or technology challenge.
