COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Psychology program provides students with a comprehensive foundation in psychological theory, research methods, and applied practice, designed to prepare them for professional work or further study in psychology. Core modules such as Academic Skills Development and Employability Skills for Success equip students with essential academic, professional, and career-focused competencies, supporting effective learning and career progression. Biological Basis of Behaviour, Cognitive Psychology, and Personality and Individual Differences develop a deep understanding of human thought, behaviour, and individual variation, while Social Psychology Perspectives and Topics explores how social contexts influence attitudes, behaviour, and relationships. Practical Applications in Developmental Psychology ensures students can translate theory into practice, applying developmental principles to real-world settings. The program places strong emphasis on research, with modules in Research Methods Essentials, Qualitative Data Analysis, and Quantitative Analysis and Statistics providing students with the skills to design studies, collect and analyse data, and interpret findings accurately.
