COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Nutrition with Public Health Management program provides students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience required to work as nutritionists specialising in public health. Core modules such as Life-Course Approach to Nutrition offer an understanding of nutritional needs across different stages of life, combining theoretical knowledge with assessment through coursework and examinations. Nutrition, Physiology and Biochemistry develops a strong scientific foundation in the biological mechanisms that underpin health and disease, enabling students to apply evidence-based approaches to nutritional practice. Public Health Management equips students with the skills to plan, implement, and evaluate health programs, policies, and interventions, while Public Health Nutrition focuses on promoting healthy diets and lifestyles at the population level, integrating practical activities with research and coursework. Elective modules, including Consultancy and Dissertation, allow students to specialise and conduct independent research, applying analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills to real-world public health challenges. Throughout the program, students engage in applied learning, case studies, and research projects, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience to develop professional competencies.
